To start the process, right-click on the folder or file you want to compress and go to Add to file …;
In the new window, you can make some settings to protect your file, define the format, change the name and if you want to divide it into volumes. These settings are not mandatory and you can simply click OK to complete the process;
After compression a new file was generated.
How to Unzip Files with Winrar
To have access to the files that were compressed with Winrar is very simple. Right click on the file and go to Extract files …;
Set the location to receive the files or simply click OK.
After clicking OK, a new folder was generated with the same name as the file that is compressed. Search for it to access the files.
